Nelson (paroles)

When Buti went to school,

His teacher gave him a name rather cool.

He didn’t know why, but now, he was called, nelson.

When he arrived in Johannesburg, he saw some person:

Some blacks who were arrested, and the whites, reigned.

Mandela didn’t know, what was happening, but he was, terrified.

When he understood what was the apartheid, he decided to protest,

The police didn’t care, and for answer decided to arrest.

Twenty-seven years later, he was at last free,

He wasn’t angry, but decided to save this country.

That’s why he presented himself to be president,

After he overthrew the untouchable government.

For the first time, blacks could vote fairly,

Mandela succeeded in saving his country.
